12 NIGHTS / 13 DAYS (excluding international flights)

Day 1 - Nairobi - 1 night - The Palacina Hotel. Bed & Breakfast.

After clearing customs in Nairobi you will be met by our representatives and transferred to The Palacina Hotel. If on a morning arrival you will have the day free to explore Nairobi or we can arrange a half-day or full-day tour to incorporate some of the key highlights of this interesting African city.

Day 2, 3 - Meru National Park - 2 nights - Offbeat Meru Camp. Full Board.

This morning you will be collected from the hotel and transferred to Wilson Airport for the Air Kenya flight to Meru National Park. You will be met upon arrival at Kinna Airstrip and transferred to Offbeat Meru Camp for a two-night stay. Enjoy game drives, bush breakfasts, picnics, sundowners and fly fishing in the local rivers. The park has 13 rivers which flow through the area encouraging a spectacular variety of birdlife. Immortalised by Joy Adamson in her book 'Born Free' and with only 2 lodges the likelihood of seeing anyone else while you stay here is small - you feel you have the park to yourself.

Day 4, 5, 6 - Masai Mara - 3 nights - Offbeat Mara Camp. Full Board.

Early morning transfer to the airstrip for a private air charter flight to Nanyuki to connect with the Air Kenya flight to the Masai Mara National Reserve. On arrival at Musiara Airstrip you will be met and transferred to Offbeat Mara Camp for a 3 night stay. This small and exclusive tented camp offers a truly private, traditional safari experience. Activities at the camp include daytime game drives as well as night drives in custom-built Land Cruisers, bush breakfasts, picnics and sundowners.

Day 7 - Nairobi - 1 night - The Palacina Hotel. Bed & Breakfast.

After breakfast you will be transferred back to Musiara Airstrip for the Air Kenya flight to Nairobi. On arrival at Wilson Airport you will be met and transferred back to The Palacina Hotel for further nights stay. If you did get the chance to visit any of the attractions of Nairobi on your first day we can include things here.

Day 8 to 12 - Zanzibar - 5 nights - Anna of Zanzibar. Full Board.

After breakfast you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta Airport for the Kenya Airways flight to Zanzibar. Met upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport by our representative and transferred to the east coast for 5 nights at Anna of Zanzibar. Located on the wonderful white beaches of Zanzibar’s east coast, Anna of Zanzibar offers you elaborate colonial simplicity, combined with the privacy, luxury and amenities of a five-star boutique hotel. Enjoy snorkelling from the beach, local village visits, scuba diving or deep sea fishing, or simply relaxing on the beach or by the pool.

Day 13 - Departure.

Early morning departure from the hotel to catch the flight out of Zanzibar to either Dar Es Salaam or Nairobi, allowing connection with the international flights back to London.
