The best part of this area has to be the Murchison Falls National Park, named after the Scottish geologist Roderick Murchison, expands to nearly 3,500 square kilometres, with flora and fauna in abundance. Just some of the marvellous animals include Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Oribi, Hartebeest & the Ugandan Kob.

With the Nile cutting through the park, is the perfect home for some amazing bird life, and some endemic to the area, such as the Shoe-bill Stork, Red-fronted Bee Eater, Silverbird and the Blue Mantled Coucal. One of the real spectacles is the Murchison Falls itself, the top being barely 6 metres wide, sending over 300 cubic metres of water per second. The real force of the falls comes from the narrow gorge, making for a really rip-roaring sight.
