WATERS OF THE WILD 11 NIGHTS/12 DAYS
Day 1: London Heathrow to Johannesburg International Airport;

Proceed to the British Airways Check-in Desks at London Heathrow Terminal 3, to arrive no later than 3-hours before your flight departs. Departing on the scheduled British Airways flight to Johannesburg International Airport, flying overnight. Relax and enjoy the flight and the in-flight hospitality and entertainment available on board.

Day 2: Johannesburg International Airport to The Sanctuary Baines’ Camp (via Maun);

Arrive into Johannesburg International Airport the following day, after clearing customs and immigration formalities, you will get a connecting flight over to Maun, for a short light aircraft flight to Baines’ Camp.

The Baines’ Camp is named after the famed 19th century explorer and artist Thomas Baines. The camp is located on the lush and scenic Boro River, in a 260,000-acre private concession bordering the southern section of the famous Moremi Game Reserve, in a seasonal section of the Okavango Delta.

Day 3: The Sanctuary Baines’ Camp;

At the Baines’ Camp there are many activities you can do throughout your stay, these include; Makoro Rides, game drives, walks and you will also get the chance to do optional activities, ‘Living with the Elephants’. Or ‘Scenic Helicopter Rides’. All of these extra activities can be arranged on arrival to Baines’ Camp or we can arrange them before you travel.

Day 4: The Sanctuary Baines’ Camp to Chief’s Island, Moremi Game Reserve;

After breakfast and morning activities, you will be collected and transferred by private vehicle to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Chief’s Camp.

Chief’s Camp is found in the Mombo concession of the Moremi Game Reserve, it is known as the ‘Predator Capital of Africa’ meaning it is prime for game viewing and wildlife. Surrounding the camp is seasonal water, changing from dry flood plains with a high number of wildlife to a peaceful lagoon throughout the year. In this ‘Predator Capital’, mammals such as wild dog, lion, cheetah and leopard abound. Recently, black and white rhino have also been introduced to this concession, making it the only place in Botswana where these magnificent animals can be seen in their natural habitat. Chief’s Island is unique in that large numbers of plains-game and predators are found here throughout the year.

Day 5-7: Camp to Chief’s Island, Moremi Game Reserve;

At the Chief’s Camp there are many different activities you can do during your stay, these include; morning and afternoon game-drives and also a Mokoro experience (which is a traditional canoe-like vessel used in the Okavango Delta as a popular mode of transport), Mokoro experiences can only take place in certain seasons.

Day 8: Camp to Chief’s Island, Moremi Game Reserve to Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero;

After breakfast at Chief’s Island, you will be collected and transferred to the airstrip for you flight to Kasane Airport. On arrival to Kasane airport, you will be collected and transferred to Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero; you will have a 30-minute transfer by road to get you to the camp.

The Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero, ‘Place of High View’, is on a gentle hill overlooking the Chobe River and Sedudu Island in Northern Botswana, where gorgeous breath-taking vistas, awe-inspiring sunsets and abundance of wildlife are the norm. The main attraction to The Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero is the sundowner cruises which they include in the rate of your two daily activities whereby the camp owns its own customised boats and sail down the Chobe River while watching the sunset and sipping cocktails, it is a great way of stopping Buffalo’s coming out into the cool evening and elephants stride through the river.

Day 9: Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero;

During your stay at Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero there are many different activities that you can include into your itinerary, these include; safari cruises, sundowner cruises and also morning and afternoon game drives are all available.

Day 10: Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero to The Royal Livingstone Hotel;

After breakfast and morning activities at The Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero, you will have a 2-hour transfer by road to get you to The Royal Livingstone Hotel.

The Royal Livingstone Hotel is ideally located on the banks of the Zambezi River, close to the spectacular Eastern Cataract of the mighty Victoria Falls in southern eastern corner of Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. The hotel is within the Victoria Falls World Heritage Site, so close in fact that the fine spray of the falls, which rises like a cloud across the bushveld and throws rainbows hundreds of feet in the air, is a permanent spectacle.

Day 11: The Royal Livingstone Hotel;

During your stay at The Royal Livingstone Hotel there are many activities that you can include into your itinerary, these include; game-viewing on a cruise up the river or up close from a private Land Rover, or you can even take a scenic tour on top of an elephants back, fishing for the legendary Tiger-Fish is another excursion, as well as an excursion to the mighty rapids of the Batoka Gorge in a white water raft or a jet boat.

Day 12: The Royal Livingstone Hotel to London Heathrow;

After breakfast you will be collected and transferred by private vehicle to Livingstone Airport for your scheduled flight to Johannesburg International Airport. On arrival into Johannesburg proceed to the British Airways Check-in Desks for your scheduled flight back to London Heathrow, to arrive no later than 3-hours before your flight departs. Departing on the scheduled British Airways flight to London Heathrow, flying overnight. Relax and enjoy the flight and the in-flight hospitality and entertainment available on board.
