THE ROYAL SOUTH AFRICAN – 12 NIGHTS / 13 DAYS (excluding international flights)
Day 1: London Heathrow to Johannesburg International Airport;

Proceed to the British Airways Check-in Desks at London Heathrow, Terminal 3, to arrive no later than 3-hours before your flight departs. Departing London Heathrow on the scheduled British Airways flight to Johannesburg International Airport, flying overnight. Relax and enjoy the flight and the in-flight hospitality and entertainment available on board.

Day 2: Johannesburg International Airport to Royal Malewane;

Arrive into Johannesburg Airport, after clearing customs and immigration formalities, you will be transferred to the charter flight to the Thornybush Game Reserve.

This exclusive 12,000-hectare private reserve borders the legendary Greater Kruger National Park and offers the finest of game experiences. Early each morning and late afternoon you will be taken out into the reserve by your personal game ranger to observe everything the reserve has to offer from the mighty elephant and the ‘Big Five’ to the smallest insects, birds, flowers, plants or trees. The time during the middle of the day is your own, there is a stunning Spa and health centre or you can sit on the verandah at the lodge with a G&T and a good book. You have a private gazebo and plunge pool with your suite.

Day 3-4: Royal Malewane;

During your stay at Royal Malewane there are many different activities that you can include into your itinerary, these include; morning, afternoon, evening and night game drives, spa treatments and private dinners under the stars.

Day 5: Royal Malewane to Bushmans Kloof (Western Cape);

After breakfast and morning activities, you will be collected and transferred to the landing strip to catch your charter light to Kruger International Airport, for your direct flight to Cape Town. On arrival to Cape Town, you will be collected and transferred by private vehicle to Bushman Kloof; you will have an approximate 2-hour and 40-minute transfer by road to get you to the hotel.

Bushmans Kloof offers a unique wilderness experience with a stunning retreat surrounded by majestic, savage beauty in a wind-sculpted landscape of ancient sandstone rock formations. 170 miles north of Cape Town at the foothills of the Cederberg Mountains, the reserve is a sanctuary to many species of indigenous plants, animals and bird, including the endangered Cape Mountain Zebra. Outdoor adventure includes abseiling, canoeing, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, early morning and evening nature drives, and swimming in crystal-clear rock pools.

You will enjoy 3-nights here on a Full Board basis with activities included.

Day 6-7: Bushmans Kloof (Western Cape);

During your stay at Bushmans Kloof, there are many different activities that you can include into your itinerary, these include; rock and art heritage, mountain biking, canoeing, swimming fly-fishing, archery, safaris, spa treatments and fitness facilities are all available for you.

Day 8: Bushmans Kloof to La Residence;

After breakfast at Bushmans Kloof, you will be collected and transferred by private vehicle to La Residence; you will have an approximate 2-hour and 40-minute transfer by road to get you to the hotel.

This fabulous lodge is an incredible reincarnation of Royal Malewane’s legendary old sister property in Franschhoek. Now boasting 11 suites of well over eighty square meters each, it is without doubt the finest property in the Cape Wine Region. The epitome of luxury and elegance, with every suite unique and different ‘La Res’ will take your breath away. Day 9: La Residence (Franschhoek);

During your stay at La Residence, there are many different activities that you can include into your itinerary, these include; trout fishing, hot air ballooning, cheese tasting and mountain walks are all available for you.

Day 10: La Residence to Ellerman House (Cape Town);

After breakfast you will be collected and transferred by private vehicle to Ellerman House; you will have an approximate 1-hour and 15-minute transfer by road to get you to the hotel.

The magnificent Ellerman House commands an elevated position in the premier Cape Town suburb of Bantry Bay, overlooking Clifton’s famous beaches. Built in 1912, in Sir Herbert Baker style, this former house of shipping magnate Sir John Ellerman has now been painstakingly restored to its original splendour. Today, Ellerman House is a proud member of the prestigious Relais & Chateaux association.

You will enjoy 4-nights here on a Bed and Breakfast basis.

Day 11-13: Ellerman House (Cape Town);

During your stay at Ellerman House, there are many activities that you can include into your itinerary, these include; wine tours, art tours, spa treatments, tours of Cape Town and fitness facilities are all available for you.

Day 14: Ellerman House to London Heathrow (via Cape Town International Airport);

After a day of leisure at Ellerman House, you will be collected and transferred to Cape Town International Airport. Proceed to the British Airways Check-in Desks for your scheduled flight back to London Heathrow. Departing Cape Town on the scheduled British Airways flight to London Heathrow, flying overnight. Relax and enjoy the flight and the in-flight hospitality and entertainment available on board.
