It shares the bulk of the Southern Cone with its neighbour Chile and border Bolivia and Paraguay to the north, Brazil to the northeast, Uruguay and the South Atlantic Ocean to the east and Chile to the west.
The country is divide into seven regions; Northwest, Mesopotamia, Gran Chaco, Sierras Pampeanas, Cuyo, Pampas and Patagonia. All of these have very different aspect throughout them which makes Argentina what is it. For example, the subtropical areas of Gran Chaco and Mesopotamia to the series of medium-height Mountain chains in the centre of Sierras Pampeanas. Within each of the regions there are hundreds of cities, the capital of Argentina being Buenos Aires. Buenos Aires is one of the top tourist locations as it is known for its European-style architecture and rich cultural life
Argentina is a multicultural country which how its own European influences. The cities are defined by the preference of people of European descent and the keen reflection of ~European styles in fashion, architecture and design. Modern culture within Argentina has been largely influenced by Italian, Spanish and other European immigration. The official language spoken in Argentina is Spanish which is spoken by almost all Argentines however English is quite a strong langue and 42% of Argentines claim to speak it.
There are many places to visit in Argentina to view some amazing tourist attractions. Argentina is a main attraction in winter for ski enthusiasts when many ski centres operate in the Andes, San Carlos de Bariloche is the largest centre in Latin America and also the most popular. There are also many National Parks and Nature Preserves were tourists can visit to see a wide range animals and sea life at certain times of year. For example; Valdes Peninsula is a nature reserve where you can see sea lions, elephant seals and fur seals, and the Iguazu National Park where you can view waterfalls and a jingle filled with wildlife.
