Day 1: London Heathrow to Johannesburg International Airport;

Proceed to the British Airways Check-in Desks at London Heathrow Terminal 3, to arrive no later than 3-hours before your flight departs. Departing London Heathrow on the scheduled British Airways flight to Johannesburg International Airport, flying overnight. Relax and enjoy the flight and the in-flight hospitality and entertainment available on board.

Day 2: Johannesburg International Airport to Nkwichi (via Lilongwe);

Arrive into Johannesburg, after clearing customs and immigration formalities, you will get your flight to Lilongwe. Arrive into Lilongwe, you will be collected and transferred to your flight to Likoma Island (a short 1-hour flight), on arrival, you will be met and transferred to Nkwichi by the boatmen of the resort, who will transfer you across the lake to the lodge; this will take approximately 2-hours – with a short stopover at Malawi immigration and in Cobue to stamp into Mozambique.

Nkwichi is a secluded property on the shore of Lake Malawi, or Lake Niassa as it is called on the Mozambican side. Nkwichi operates a sustainable project with the aim of protecting the natural environment, whilst helping to support the Nyanja people in their development and helps preserve and enhance their culture. The exquisite lakeside scenery makes it one of the most pristine wildernesses of Africa.

You will enjoy 4-nights here on a Full Board Basis, including non-motorised activities.

Day 3-5: Nkwichi;

During your stay at Nkwichi there are many different activities that you can include into your itinerary, these include; snorkelling safaris, canoe rides, sunset dhow cruises, fishing trips and paddling in the fresh pristine waters in and around the resort.

Day 6: Nkwichi to Kaya Mawa;

After breakfast and morning activities, you will be collected and transferred by boat, via Mozambican and Malawian Immigration to the stunning Kaya Mawa Lodge.

Day 7-11: Kaya Mawa;

During your stay at Kaya Mawa there are many activities that you can include into your itinerary, these include; quad biking, scuba diving, snorkelling, fishing trips and water-skiing.

Day 12: Kaya Mawa to London Heathrow (via Johannesburg International Airport);

After breakfast and a morning of leisure, you will be collected and transferred back to Lilongwe Airport for your connecting flight to Johannesburg International Airport. Arrive into Johannesburg International Airport and proceed to the British Airways Check-in Desks, to arrive no later than 3-hours before your flight departs. Departing Johannesburg on the scheduled British Airways flight to London Heathrow, flying overnight. Relax and enjoy the flight and the in-flight hospitality and entertainment available on board.
