Praslin lies 45km to the north-east of Mahé and is a short 10-minute flight hop or short ferry journey away from Mahé. The island is relatively small and measures 10km by 4km, making it easy to get around. Praslin is a haven of peace and tranquillity, the relaxed and unhurried pace here seldom changing. The beaches are some of the most wonderful that nature provides; white soft sand contrasting against ocean blues, with some of the most exquisite beaches being Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette, both appearing on the top-10 list of world’s best beaches in recent years. Praslin is also the site of the fabulous Vallée de Mai, one of Seychelles’s two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, where the famed and exotic Coco de Mer palm grows wild. The coves and bays of Praslin deserve discovery and a day of exploration by bicycle or car is well rewarded.

The exclusive 5 star deluxe Constance Lemuria, located just 5 minutes from Praslin airport, enjoys an idyllic location on the Northwest coast of the island.
