HERMANUS, WESTERN CAPEDELUXE

This superb private nature reserve sits in a unique ecological area and and offers a plethora of activities which include guided walking trails, horse-riding and nature drives and beach ‘sundowner’ trips, as well as optional excursions to view the nearby seal colony, great white sharks and the southern right whales, which can also be easily spotted from the shoreline from June to November.

The free-standing luxury suites have been built from locally hewn stone and timber. Original hand painted floral and bird themes brings the surrounding nature into the suite. Each is generously proportioned to sleep two or four persons in rooms with en-suite bathrooms and has its own secluded balcony to admire the sunsets over the ocean or start the day in tune with the forest birds.

The gourmet cuisine draws inspiration from the abundance of scents and colours in nature and the chefs conjure up superb combinations of fish caught on the day, succulent meats and fresh home-grown vegetables, enhanced with flavours from the flourishing herb garden.

The rate includes: a welcome cocktail, five-course dinners, full English and buffet breakfasts, Mediterranean lunches, fresh fruit basket daily, sparkling wine on afternoon drives to the nearby coast and transfers to all activities including the incredible guided walks.
