PRIVATE CONCESSION IN THE KRUGER NATIONAL PARK – PRESTIGE
Singita Kruger National Park is situated in 15,000 hectares in the south-eastern section of Kruger National Park, not far from the South Africa-Mozambique border. This private concession in the shadow of the Lebombo Mountain range is one of few remaining pristine and unexplored territories in Southern Africa. Here a unique wildlife population, including the Big-5, thrive in four different eco-zones. Guests undertake safaris in open Land Rovers with experienced guides and trackers.
On the concession Singita offer two luxurious lodges:-
The interior design of Singita Lebombo Lodge is an architectural masterpiece. Its design mixes cutting-edge contemporary style with wide-open spaces and enormous blue African skies. Designed around the theme of a luxury eagle’s nest, the lodge offers an elevated birds-eye view of the Kruger National Park.
The luxurious lodge has every comfort that you would expect from a world-class hotel. Its fifteen, cliff-side suites each have an en-suite bathroom with outside shower, mini-bar with fridge, in-room mini-safe, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, direct dial telephones and private viewing deck. The main lodge has a swimming pool, gym, health spa, wine cellar and traditional boma for alfresco dining.
Tatler Magazine says: “Singita Lebombo Lodge is a cause for global celebration”.
Singita Sweni Lodge was influenced by the structures of dens, warrens and lairs found in the area. Flanking the Sweni River, this tranquil sanctuary is elevated on stilts with decks of timber. Even when you’re indoors, you’ll have the sensation of being close to the river and trees.
The six secluded suites, with tactile furnishings, have been carefully created to bring in the textures and shades of the bush. Designed with open-plan living in mind, your suite flows from the bathroom area, through to the lounge and into the bedroom – yet if you wish, each area may be sealed off by curtains. Try the outdoor shower overlooking the river or – for a magical experience – “camp out”’ under the stars on the day bed out on your viewing deck.
Singita’s chefs take their inspiration from the natural surroundings and revel in using freshly-grown produce to add flair to each meal. They are happy to offer special tasting menus. Dine privately in your suite, or in the boma around a central log-fire, under a starlit African canopy.
