Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp is scenically situated in a broad valley at the meeting of two tributaries of the Hoanib River in the northern area of the private Palmwag Concession, one of the most remote areas of the Kaokoveld.
Hoanib Skeleton Coast camp itself consists of seven twin-bedded tents and one family unit, each of these includes en-suite bedrooms with shaded outdoor decks. The camp overlooks the stunning, starkly beautiful scenery which offers our guests the luxury and amenity for an unforgettable day.
The vast isolated wilderness offers a memorable viewing of Namibia’s distinctive desert-adapted wildlife. There are diverse activities such as day trips to desert oases and a scenic flight over the skeleton coast where you’ll have the opportunity to take photos of the magnificent views.
There are many different wildlife species to see from enormous elephants that thrive along with giraffe, lion and brown hyaena’s to springbok, scrub hare and inquisitive ground squirrels which are often seen amongst the rugged mountains and valley inlan, also the Skeleton Coast is home to the Cape fur seals which flock in their thousands with black-backed jackals and hundreds of birds to see.
