SNOW-CAPPED PEAKS, GORGES, HISTORICAL VILLAGES & A MIGHTY DESERT

The Atlas Mountains are North Africa’s highest range. Stretching six hundred miles diagonally across Morocco, they’re renowned for the beauty of their remote snow capped peaks and deep gorges. The highest point is Mount Toubkal, which stands at 4,167m above sea level and commands superb views of the High Atlas Mountains. The mountainsides are dotted by remote Berber villages and terraced fields, which are a real contrast to the city of Marrakech.

Discover the solitude of the Sahara, joining a camel train and camping out under the starry desert sky, experience a real sense of space and remoteness, especially when witnessed from the tops of dunes up to 100m high. You may also visit the UNESCO site of Ait Benhaddou, the site of many international films.
