MASAI MASA, KENYA – DELUXE
Bateleur Camp in located at the very edge of the Masai Mara, it is set just below where the ending of the film ‘Out of Africa’ was filmed. It shows spectacular seasonal views of the Great Migration at the Maasai Mara, including the River Crossing. The camp is renowned for its beautiful views and variant species which can be seen on the open Mara plains which can be seen from the each tent.
Bateleur camp is just two camps with 9 tents in each of them, which are set among the forests. Each of the tented suites includes a stunning en-suite bathroom with a stone shower and warm wood furnishing which is great to relax in. This reflects the classic African style, and intimate touch of Kenya. The rooms themselves have hardwood floors, leading up to open spaces the camp has to offer. Each tent has a private veranda in which each guest can sit and watch the bush come to life.
The guest areas open up to the vast spaces which the Masai Mara has to offer, with a spacious swimming pool within the lodge in which guests can view the massive herds of wildlife. Included in the camp are daily game drives which allow the guests to experience what Kenya has to offer, also night drives are included as the Camp is situated on a private concession. Guest can also go on bush walks and hot air ballooning but these come with added costs. All of there are great ways to experience the vintage African culture with Kenya being one the most premier game viewing regions in the world.
All children are welcome on camp however children under 5 are not allowed to take part in any of the regular game drives which the lodge provides.
This camp is perfect for people who have an interest in any wildlife, photography. It’s great for nature lovers.
