The Selinda Canoe Trail is a five-day and four-night safari exploring Africa down the 45km stretch of Selinda spillway. Guests will be enjoying the snaking bends throughout the day and camping on the banks of the ancient waterway by night.
This unparalleled adventure will take you into the depths of the Spillway islands and lagoons on a unique canoe safari. The wildlife you will be exploring is large herds of Elephant and Buffalo, a pack of wild dog. You will always see rare seeing of Cheetah, Lion and leopard and to add to this you may see some very unusual seeing throughout the trip.
You will spend the day paddling down the Spilling where you will stop for regular breaks some something interesting is spotted on the banks, by night you will be fly camping on the banks in a 3m X 3m 2 man tent which is provided and set up every night by the safari staff as well as your meals. Each canoe can fit a maximum of two people in it along with their bedrolls and bags, both guests should be strong enough to paddle the canoe, no previous experience is need. However, it’s a must that people travelling should have an interest in exploring the island and what Africa offers.
The safari is dependent on the season and whenever the water levels are good enough and safe enough for guests who choose this safari. However if you don’t want to miss out on this unique canoe safari and the views and wildlife that you get to witness with it.

The Safari rate is on an all inclusive basis including; all meals, limited but good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, park fees and all related activities.
4 X 2 man tents
Children over the age of 12 are welcome to travel with the safari.
