RIVERS, SWAMPS, FORESTS AND GAME A PLENTY

In the north-east of the Okavango Delta lies the Linyanti River, which separates Botswana from Namibia. This river creates the Savute Channel, the Selinda Spillway and the Linyanti Marsh, all surrounded by extensive mopane woodlands. Linyanti and Selinda are beautiful and relatively undiscovered areas that boasts waterways, marshes, riverine forests, woodlands and grasslands and are home to huge herds of elephants, zebras, antelope and buffalo plus large concentrations of predators, including large of prides of lion and packs of the endangered wild dog.
 
This unique area offers prolific and diverse wildlife and stunning scenery making it a “must-see” for anyone visiting Botswana.
